Bogdanov biomechanika workshopja a soproni Progress-en
Gennagyij Bogdanov orosz színész a soproni Progress fesztiválon - a zsűrizés mellett - három műhelymunkát is tart az érdeklődőknek. Gennagyij Bogdanov színészként végezett a Moszkvai Állami Színművészeti Egyetemen (GITISZ) 1972-ben. Még ugyanebben az évben leszerződött a Moszkvai Szatíra Színház társulatához. Húsz éven át játszott itt. Közben tanítványa lett Nyikolaj Kusztov mesternek (színész és biomechanika tanár, aki 1938-ig dolgozott Mejerholddal).
Mint a Mejerhold-féle színházi biomechanika örököse, színházi munkájában alapként használva ezt a technikát, egész művészi pályáját a színházi biomechanikának szentelte. Ezt kezdte oktatni, majd lett professzor a GITISZ-en, s később megalapította Színházi Biomechanika Nemzetközi Iskoláját.
1991 óta működik együtt Berlini Mime Centrummal, az Eugénio Barba alapította International School of Theatre Anthropology-val (ISTA), a Wroclawi Grotowski Intézettel és a Pontadera-ban működő “Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards Workcentre-rel”. Workshopokat vezetett – többek között – az Egyesült Államokban, Németországban, Olaszországban és Oroszországban.
Részvétele a PROGRESS 2019 Sopron fesztivál zsűrijében, de különösen az általa vezetett három workshop páratlan és ingyenes lehetőség színjátszóinknak, hogy a gyakorlatban is megismerkedhessenek ennek a színháztörténeti jelentőségű mozgástechnikának az alapjaival.

The Basic Principles of Gesture and Movement Construction Based on Meyerhol`s Biomechanics
Gennadi Nikolaevich Bogdanov graduated as an actor from Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in 1972. In the same year he joined the company of the Theatre of the Satire of Moscow where he worked as an actor for 20 years. At the same theatre he became the student of Master Nikolai Kustov (actor and instructor of theatrical biomechanics, who worked with Meyerhold till 1938).
Inherited the tradition of the Theatrical Biomechanics of Meyerhold, used as a basis of his work in the theatre, Master Bogdanov decided to dedicate his artistic life to theatrical biomechanics. That is why he started to work at the Russian University of Theatre Arts first as a professor and then as a founder and director of International School of Theatrical Biomechanics.
Since 1991 he collaborates with the Mime Centrum of Berlin and with the Drama School Ernst Busch. Since 1996 collaborates with ISTA (International School of Theatrical Anthropology) directed by Eugenio Barba, with “Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards Workcentre” of Wroclaw and Pontedera.
His participation in jury board of PROGRESS 2019 Sopron but especially the three free classes of Biomechanics is a very special opportunity for our guests to get to know in practice the basics of this movement technics that had so much significance in European theatre history.
